NEW CUSTOMER PROMOTIONS:
You have until June 1, 2005 to take advantage of DISH Madness with AT 180 for the Price of AT60. Effective June 2, 2005 through July 31, 2005, new residential customers can take advantage of DISH Madness combined with the HBO/Showtime promotion. Details of these promotions including timing are as follows:
1. DISH Madness: DISH Madness is a new promotion with a $12 per month discount for three months (effective May 5, 2005 through July 31, 2005). R*Connect built subscriber accounts must be activated by August 31, 2005. Among other requirements, to be eligible for this promotion, a customer must also participate in DHA-12, DHA-24 or the Alaska/Puerto Rico/U.S. Virgin Islands Promotion and purchase one of the following qualifying programming packages:
o AT60, AT120, AT180, AEP
o Latino, Latino Dos, Latino Max, LEP
o Great Wall TV Package
2. HBO & Showtime: Effective June 2, 2005 through July 31, 2005, eligible new residential subscribers who, among other requirements, subscribe to minimum qualifying programming can get HBO & Showtime FREE for 3 months.
3. AT180 for the Price of AT60: Effective May 5, 2005 through June 1, 2005, eligible new residential subscribers who, among other requirements, participate in the DHA-12 or DHA-24 promotion may take advantage of the AT180 for the Price of AT60 for 3 Months promotion. By combining this promotion with DISH Madness, customers effectively receive AT180 for the price of $19.99/mo. for their first three months of service. Remember, this promotion ends on June 1, 2005.
EXISTING AND FORMER CUSTOMER PROMOTIONS
1. HBO/SHOWTIME Existing Customer Offer: Eligible existing residential DISH Network customers who, among other requirements, subscribe to minimum qualifying programming, upgrade to HBO and Showtime, and send to DISH Network their account statement evidencing at least 3 months of continuous HBO/Showtime service (effective June 2, 2005 through July 31, 2005) will qualify for a $50 rebate.
2. Formers DHA-24 Promotion: Eligible former residential DISH Network customers may sign up for DISH Network services again by enrolling in the Formers DHA-24 Promotion.
CUSTOMER EDUCATION
ClubDISH Gift Cards in 942 Pack Out – Commencing on May 25, 2005 and through June 30, 2005, ClubDISH will insert gift cards in 5,000 DISH Player-DVR 942 pack outs as a marketing test to among other things determine the feasibility of a national rollout. When installing a DISH Player-DVR 942 look for the red ClubDISH gift box and (if included) inform the customer how to refer friends and family to DISH Network through our ClubDISH Program. Keep in mind that ClubDISH cards must be activated just like a credit card.
PROGRAMMING
VOOM
HD Originals: We recently announced our launch of VOOM HD Originals. Phase 1 launched Sunday, May 1, 2005 with 10 HD channels including HD news, Guy TV, Rush HD, Gallery HD, Rave, Ultra HD, Equator HD, Monsters HD, Animania and The Majestic. An eligible customer who purchases DISH Network HD Pak for $9.99/mo. can get VOOM HD Originals for an additional $5/mo. These channels are found among channels 9470 – 9482. Customers who take advantage of the HD Pak 6 Months Free Promotion (which ends July 31, 2005) will still pay $5/mo. for VOOM HD Originals. We will add 11 more VOOM HD Channels in Phase 2 slated for 2006.
VOOM New Customer Installs: Among other requirements, to get VOOM, a customer needs a DISH antenna pointed to 61.5. For new customer activations, you do not need to create an additional customer promotion agreement to be eligible to receive incentives specific to this promotion.
BRIDGES TV: Bridges TV is a new service in English for 8 Million American Muslims. This channel provides entertainment programming that focuses on lifestyle and culture with family-friendly programming that covers travel, biography, children, food, health, talk, history, women, culture, films, religious, comedy, news, music and sports.
Bridges TV is on Channel 578 (61.5 and 148) and costs $14.99 per month. Customers who do not subscribe to minimum qualifying programming will be charged an additional $5.00 per month Service Access Fee.
LOCALS:
Additions to an Existing Market: We have added a few channels to an existing local market.
• Puerto Rico (DISH 500 on 110): Effective May 18, 2005, we added ABC and UPN/WB to the Puerto Rico local lineup. Puerto Rico locals are currently available for $5.99 per month or $11.98 per month with the New York Distant Network Package.
Currently our total number of local markets is 158! Individual stations are not sold a la carte and these packages are not available as Distant Networks. All locals package pricing is currently $5.99 per month when all four major networks are offered. The price is discounted $1 when we do not offer all four major networks (i.e., ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX). Please note that for DHA customers, local markets are currently included in the DHA programming package price. Local networks packages (except in Anchorage, AK) may require a SuperDISH 105, SuperDISH 121, a
DISH 500, or a DISH 300 antenna pointed to 148°. Depending on a customer’s location, a second antenna may be required to receive all local stations.

International Only Promotion: Effective April 15, 2005 through July 31, 2005, eligible residential consumers interested in our International Programming may take advantage of the new International-only promotion. This promotion is available exclusively through participating retailers. Among other requirements, each consumer must pay his or her participating retailer $149 to be eligible to receive free standard professional
installation of a remanufactured model 2800 receiver and a SuperDISH (121°) or a DISH 500 (61.5° / 148°) depending on the programming selected. Please note that equipment substitutions are not available under this promotion.
If the International Programming package selected by a customer is broadcast from a wing satellite location (61.5° or 148°), standard professional installation of a DISH 500 antenna must be provided. If the selected package is broadcast exclusively from the 121° location, standard professional installation of a SuperDISH must be provided.
Consumers participating in this promotion are not subject to credit approval and are not required to provide a valid credit card number or other account information. However, a Social Security number or equivalent is required to confirm identity. No written customer promotion agreement is required.
