Question Re DPP44 switch and BEV

    Greetings all.

Being an old BEV installer and having no experience with DPP equipment, I have one question.

I subscribe to Bell and have 2 receivers, a 6131, and a 9241 dual tuner with a dpp seperator and two lines run to a dpp Lnb.

I want to add 2 more 6131 to the mix and bell says I must have another dish mounted beside my current dish for the extra receivers.

I'm only allowed 1 dish by the condo board . Can I install a DPP44 switch with the two lines from the existing dish, and then to my receivers, or, do I need a 2nd dish like Bell says? I can pick up a DPP44 locally for $60 Cdn.

The DPP44 switch is Cascadable up to 3 switches (total of 12 outputs). So you don't need another dish. Just get another DPP44 switch and go from there.
    My FTA equipment list:

Thanks for the info. I guess Bell still doesn't know what their doing at times. I know one person who bought 4 receivers from bell, and by the time the bell installer left, there was 4 dishes mounted on his House. One for each receiver.
