    Re: Turbo HD

I now have it up and running.....I set the EL,AZ, and SK connected my meter, twisted the dish a little and wa-la got a signal. Fine tuned the dish for the best signal and quality and I'm in business. Here are somemore photos.

Thanks, I've got it pointed at 119 where there are the 14 channels in the clear.

    Re: Turbo HD

can you get these channels on the dish antenna or do i need my geopro 90cm antenna. i already have the 250 package from dish but seldom use it. just got a sony tv and it is so much better at receiving local channels. i am about 90 miles from sioux city, omaha and lincoln. now with my rotor antenna set to lincoln, i get sioux city, omaha, lincoln and hastings at the same time. and occasionally i get sioux falls, south dakota. blows my mind... charlie

Turbo HD-spotbeam..gifI think you can get them with a small dish these are channels which are received with a Dish Network dish from Echostar 14 119W. But you have to be within the spot beam shown here. I use my Openbox to receive them.

    Re: Turbo HD

Is HD working really well now for dish? I used to have it but I most of the time had fussy picture and cracking sound. I wanna know if the quality has really improved a lot. I've given up talking to their customer service because I've spent so many hours on the phone trying to figure things out but it was never fixed.
