Dish 625 receiver using Winegard AS2003 dish

I am using a Dish DVR 625 in my RV with a Winegard AS2003 automatic roof mounted dish. The way I have it working is to plug the prewired satellite cable (supplied from the manufacturer as input to receiver 1) to the dish 1 input, and running another cable (from the receiver 2 cable) out of the front of the RV into the TV cabinet to dish 2 input. This works great except TV1 cannot command the dish to move (Good compromise since all my recordings are recording on the TV2 tuner). In this configuration, the Dish DVR recognizes the Winegard controller as a SW42 switch.
However, I would really like to avoid having this second cable to eliminate clutter, not to mention the hassle of re cabling every time we close down and move. I have tried using the Dish Pro Plus separator supplied with the DVR with either cable from the dish, and it will not work properly. It fails to acquire signal, and the check switch fails saying there in no signal on the dish 2 input (1b, 2b). I tried using an SW21 to combine both signals from both dish cables to one cable, then using the separator, but I get an error saying it is wired incorrectly when I plug in the receiver and the check switch also fails.
Is there any type of switch or multiplexor that will work with this Winegard RV dish and the Dish 625 DVR that will allow me to just use the single cable?

Thanks
