Hookup Problem

Hello all,

We have some sort of a problem here with the hookup of a AT-9 5 LNB for direct tv.
We have one HD-10 250 and one standard dvr and they were all working on a phase 3 setup with the 3 lnbs.

We upgraded to the new At-9 and now the HD unit only has one port working and the standard dvr both ports ( watch one & record another same time) are working fine.

What do we not understand on the setup here there must be something are missing.

We will be up grading to the "NEW" HD DVR PLUS when we find some around.

Richard

The line that's not working is propably not connected to your dish.Try switching the line that's working to the 2nd port if it works then the line that's not working is not connected to your ka/ku.

Hello

I rang out each line and all is good with the cables.
I checked for power at the dish thats is good too.
I was told with the new AT-9 Direct 5 LNB satellite dish you need to add a external switch, so I got one here and we are going to install over the weekend weather permitting.

I will see than if that is it or not.

Thsnks

Richard
