multi-channel TV programming to an 18-inch satellite dish.
Is there a way to get American programming south of the border? Can you just take equipment to Latin Am, set it up, point in the right direction and receive the proper signal if your billing is still in the US. Or, are all of the satellites "hovering" too far away? Any rumors of adding sports, other American programming to Direct TV LA.

It depends where you live. All the satellites are "hovering" around the equator that's not th problem. The problem is where is the satellite beam beamed.
