Locals at vacation home.

I work in southeast Ohio a few times a month and I can't get my Atlanta locals when Im there. Everything else comes in fine. Ive tried it with both my HD reciever and my old non-HD TIVO box and still cant get it to work. It's an 18 inch dual LNB dish in the Columbus market. I've taken it to North Carolina and it's worked fine. All I can figure is that it must be the dish pointing. Can anyone help? Thanks.

You are too far away from the satellite signal beam for your local channels. Locals are usually receivable within 60 miles from the center of the local area.

Ive got locals up to 200 miles away before. Still why can I get the others?

The spotbeams are more focused no a days with the new satellites.

Check with your service provider about that. I don't think so, but maybe they can help you.
