LNB info needed for use with Twinhan PCI card

I am currently installing a BUD with an analog C-Band LNB, for the time being, will this work with the 1020 Twinhan card? Will I not be able to receive certain channels because the LNB is analog and not digital?

I also have been reading that people add on a DBS LNB to thier BUD for adding additional channels that the C-band LNB does not pick up, is this correct? Would I need a switch to combine these two LNB's? Any and all info would be appreciated before I purchase this card.

Thanks,

Depend on how well your dish track the arc. How old is your dish/lnb?
If the lnb is old, you should replace it with a new one.
Lot of fta dvb stuff are on Ku band as well. Check your dish to see if it it ku compatable.
I think skyvision.com sells DBS kit for BUB, but it costly. Check out their website www.skyvision.com

From what I am told, the LNB is about 2 years old, here is an picture of it:

and the dish is about 8 years old.

Will the DBS LNB add on additional channels that would not be available with a linear C/KU LNB? Because I was thinking of a KU upgrade anyways in the future and it is not that much more to get the 3 LNB feedhorn over the c/ku combo.

There are not many FTA circular feeds. Unless you like the FTA music audio channels, then it's worth upgrading the DBS scalar rings.
Another option is to setup a separate motorized ku dish, then attach a DBS lnb next to the ku one.
Ku signal is a bit tricky. Not all the C-band are able to get ku.
Check out the link below to see how to attach the DBS next to the ku one:

Do you use the C-band to get analog or digital?
How well does it track the arc?

Unfortunately, I am having problems setting up my BUD right now, the Pole is plumb, the dish is aligned to true south, but today I tried to get a signal so that I could program my Uniden Ultra receiver, but I could not get a blip , I did a master reset when I brought the receiver home (the dish was located 7 miles from me when I brought it home), I had to change the Actuator because of wire breakage to the sensor during the move. I do not believe any of the settings to the dish were disturbed, but I cannot get a signal. Hopefully I will get this thing going soon, or I will have to call someone to get it tweaked.
