New Forum vs. Smilies...

Smilies...

They work if one does "" .. or "" .. manually basically... But the Forum's "Choose a Smilie" thingy appears to be gone for now..
(Also .. often vBulletin's style forums also have "Additional Smiles" button as well.. - if press it more smilies choices are given)

Any possible to fix or add those?

make sure you have selected the enhanced editor in your User CP:
User CP -> Edit Options -> Miscellaneous Options -> Enhanced Interface

Well... I didnt know about that.
Anything else hidden in CP that could make the fourm more functional?

There ARE the smilies on the right side there NOW.. as i type this

just to add:

Instead of Basic Editor (as it was originally) ..and instead of Enhanced Editor (as suggested above) .. i switched in "User CP -> Edit Options -> Miscellaneous Options ->" there to the Standard Editor - Extra Formatting Controls (this one is a middle one there, lol, between Basic and Enhanced one)

The reason i did that is because, even though Enhanced Editor was nice as well.. i could NOT get to work (or figure out how to) in Enhanced editor such features as "CUT", "Delete" .. (was able to "Select ALL", and "Paste" .. but NOT "Cut" and "Delete" - strange..)
And i did NOT feel like Cutting / Deleting text manually (if / when the need arrives) ...

So i switched to that Standard Editor (which i think is default one anyhow in most of vBulletin style forums)...
And By The Way - the Smilies Box with smilies in it (on the right there) .. when typing / posting a message IS STILL there and works! (same as in Enhanced Editor) ...

Figured i post this.. and maybe someone, who wants a normal way of CUT / Delete feature might find this info useful
