please help getting no signal with 1020a
please help,
I me and my buddy just bought 2 1020a's from your site now I been 3 days trying to get them to work.
first I use a reciever to locate a sat and get a good signal, but when I hook the cable to the 1020a it doesn't get any sinal at all, most of the time it says signal 53% - 80% and always quality is 0% but it say that even when i disconnect to cable.
when I know I got a good sat the visiondtv scan say 0 transponers found.
I've tryed a dish500 dual and a dtv single LNB, they work find when I hook them to there rec. but the 1020a can't get anything out of them.
do you need to hook a outside source for the 13v and 18v volts, because a PC only has 3.3v,5v, and 12 volts.
I just ordered 2 FC80p fortec star 31" from your site lastnight in the hopes that it will fix my problems.
I still think the problem lies in the computers max voltage is 12 volt and the LNB's use 13 and 18 volts.
is there a differents in LNB and LNBF ?
I hope after spending over $300 on your site you could shed a little lite
thanks so much............
