Dish adjustment

Im frustrated and im about to give up. i got a compass and i tried to use progfinder and i get nothing. I lined my dish by sight to a neigbhor's and was receiving like 30+ %. overly frustrating.....! dont know what to do from here. I was trying to get something from directv1r

What are you looking to receive (what channels)?

Directv doesn't use DVB standard and DVB cards will not lock in on the signal so pointing your dish to any Directv sats will not get you any signal.
