Dead 1020A ..

My Twinhan 1020A I bought here worked for about a week, but then today it died.

I get 0VDC to the LNB and when I re-boot my PC, it keeps seeing a new Multimedia Device, then a New Unknown device.

I check the voltage right at the card and it's still 0VCD

I tried switching the card to different slots, re-formatted the hard drive and re-installed a fresh copy of XP-Pro then installed the drivers that used to work, but on the re-start after installing the Vision Data CD it pops up with "No Hardware Dectected".

I even tried a different PC with the same results exactly.

Since I've only had this card for less than a month, where do I RMA it to?

Steve

Couple of things, Are you sure the drivers are installed correct yes I know you had it working, drivers can get overwritten or otherwise mangled. If they are not which is what I am guessing from your post. the card will sit there and do nothing. Also have you attempted to do a manual install of the drivers?
If it is seeing a new multimedia device that is probably your card, do a manual install of the drivers and see if that does not fix the issue. I have found a manual install instead of the wizard a much better method with these cards.

With the case off can you here the relay on the card click when you first attempted to use the card before? If you can get the drivers to succesfully install listen for the click and then check voltages and or try your favorite FTA software.

I hope this helps I know it is not an RMA.
