VisionDTV problems

Just got some stuff from Sadoun: 90 cm disk, HH90 motor, Fortecstar Lifetime Ultra, and a TwinHan PCI card 1020A. I was successfully installed the disk, got lots of FTA chanel from many sattites between 93W-123W (I am at Longitud 111.9W, Latitude 33.3 N, and have a limited look angle since I install my disk on the fence wall). Everything works fine with the Fortec Star receiver.

I can not get the VisionDTV playing. It displays the 1st picture of the channel and stay there. Some time It hangs. Is there anyone have the same problem and know how to correct this? I don't know if this is the problem with the VisionPlus PCI card or the VisionDTV (V 2.42a). Event though I have a good signal Strength and signal quality show in the Fortec Star receiver, the VisionDTV show a lower signal strength and quality. Sometime it show 0% quality. When VisionDTV show some signal quality (15%), Scan the Satelite got many channel from T5. But when ever I play a channel, It display the 1st screen and freeze there.
Any suggestion to correct this problem is appreciated. (I tryed to connect to www.visionplus.com.tw and www.twinhan.com but can't reach them)

Since you are using both Fortec and Twinhan, are you connecting lnb to Fortec and then connecting from Fortec to Twinhan? If you are, Twinhan will only be able to scan polarity that is selected on your Fortec.

If you are connecting Twinhan directly, are you selecting the correct LNB type?

It sounds to me that you have them both hooked up. IF you do, make sure you are using a DC blocker. And if you are connecting 1020a to your Fortec, signal strength and quality will usually be different.

I hook up only one receiver to the LNB at a time. When it hooks to the Fortec, I use USALS Dish Type to aim the dish to T5. Then disconnect the cable from the Fortec and reconnect it to the Twinhan PCI card. In VisionDTV, I use LNB Type of Universal ( 10600Mhz , 9750Mhz .) I have FSKU-V Universal Single LNBF of FORTEC STAR. Also in VisionDTV, I use "Fixed" Dish Type to make sure it works with Fixed dish first. Since the dish already aimed at T5, VisionDTV was able to scan all the channels from T5.
