Cool, my PC runs out of PCI slots. Looks like I have a solution now.

Does sound neat! Perhaps Sadoun can loan a couple to certain people so they can insure that it will work with TSREADER and DVBAPPS, etc.

:-)

This does bring up a lot of new possibilities, such as taking a laptop out to the dish to help aiming, etc.

Hope it isn't too costly. :-)

Would usb1.1 be an issue when watching HDTV or tuning to a carrier that requires more than 11Mbps of bandwidth that USB 1.1 provides?

Good question. I don't know enough to have any idea. However I assume that the VisionDTV software that will come with it will only do SD, which is why I was asking about DVBAPPS. But perhaps this is a limitation that will make it impossible for DVBAPPS to do HD??? I guess we need one of the programmers to answer that one.
However my feeling is that if it can handle the SR and get the overall data streams into the computer, that the processing to either SD or HD is all done in the computer, and wouldn't depend on the USB transfer. Ie the SRs of the HD stuff is often no higher than that of SD stuff, so if it can handle the SD, I'd think it could handle the HD. But that's a complete guess on my part.
