ProgDVB LOF values?

I need some info about LOF values. I did search thru site and didn't find much info about. Now, I know that LOF values for diferent satelites are frequencies, but I m not sure how to figure(or maybe calculate) values. When I go to :lyng.com site I can read frequencies for each satelite but I m not sure Which is LOF 1 and which is LOF 2. How do you figure LOF values? I have setup my dish (motorised) using progDVB, Nexus-S.
Will try to "Hit" satellites from 61.5W to 123.0W.

My starting point will be 79.0W (AMC5)

Thanks a lot for help.

LOF (Local Oscillator Frequencies) are determined by the type of LNB you are using. If you have a "standard" LNB then the LOF = 10,750 MHz; if you have a "universal" LNB then the LOF = 10,600 MHz. That's all you need to know for configuring your Twinhan card.

Well, that's partially correct. LOF3 of 10,600 Universal would not be for EchoStar or Nimiq - those satellites are DTH circular polarity with a L.O. frequency of 11,250 MHz. I have a feeling that your card(s) allow you to set up to 4 dishes connected with a DiSEqC 4-way switch -- this is likely what it means by LOF1, LOF2, etc. What you would do is set the L.O. frequencies for each dish -- so for example if you had dish 1 as DishNetwork 119, set LOF1=11,250 MHZ. If you had dish 2 and 3 as Nimiq 82 and Nimiq 91, set LOF2=11,250 MHZ and LOF3=11,250 MHZ. Then if you had the 4th dish for T5, set LOF4=10,750 MHZ (if you had a standard LNB; if you had a universal LNB set it to 10,600 MHz). All this is assuming your card(s) support the DiSEqC protocol. Its hard to guess without seeing your setup.
