VisionData 1.7

Dear All

The WinData 1.7 had been released but it's still a beta version.
And the model name had also been changed into VisionData.

If you would like to test the beta version, you could download it from the following hyperlink. Inform me if you have any further questions.
http://www.twinhan.com/files/driver/...a1.7Beta01.zip

Ps. VisionData is the program to let you emaulate an internet ethernet card. So that you could surf on internet via satellite. Of course you also need the satellite ISP's subscription.

I am curious just what this program (VisionData) does? Is it a replacement for WinDTV or VisionDTV , or does it do something completely unrelated?
Also, perhaps Simon can help with the VisionDTV program. I had WinDTV that came with my Twinhan 1020a card working OK, but I downloaded the newer VisionDTV program, and it doesn't seem to work. It locks and scans the channels in fine, and saves them, and will display video in the "preview", but when you try to view the channel, it says unable to play your program. Other software plays the same channels fine, and WinDTV played them fine before the switchover.
Anyway, nice to see someone from Twinhan here.

My opinion is that the original decoder is not covered by the new one.
Could you please uninstall again and remove the folder in C://Program Files/PC-TV. After removing, install VisionDTV again should solve your problem.
And also thanks for your greeting.

Thanks. The above worked fine. There were a few WinDTV files left behind like you suggested.

One off topic comment. I've tried twice now to download the new version ,
ie 2.41.1_app.zip , and both times it downloaded sucessfully, but when I tried to unzip it, WinZip says that it is not a recognizable archive file. I'm going through a dialup ISP, so it's possible that the file was corrupted on downloading, but you might check that file.

thanks

Hi

I am sorry that there is something wrong for the zip file and I already correct it and reduce the file size into 5 MB.
Please download again.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

FYI.

Q:
How to uninstall VisionDTV driver and Application program completely?
A:
1. Make sure TwinHan Card is inserted in your PCI slot.
2. Uninstall applications from widows (control panel->add/remove application) or application program(uninstall.exe)
3. Remove the application program folder. (c:Program FilesPC-TV)
4. Right click on "My Computer" on desktop. --> Content --> Hardware --> Device Manager --> Sound, video and game controllers --> Remove both of the device "DTV audio controller&video controller"
5. Remove all the "oem.inf & oem.pnf" in c:winntinf
6. Shutdown your computer.
7. Unplug TwinHan cards.

I am sorry that VP-1030 doesn't support VisionData.
