Wave bye bye to Korean G10 FTA

Well fellows FTA viewers, it seems as if KBS has now joined the other channels on G10 and is in the non-viewing mode as far as FTA. I will hang in there a few more days and see what happens. All else fails I will be moving dishes (my most favorite past time, it keeps the grass from growing and it keeps the post and cement people in business) to T5 for KISB and keep the other one on AMC 4.

I noticed the same thing. So that leaves us to only 3 FTA Korean television channels: KISB 1,2, and 3. Acutally just 2 since KISB 3 is just like QVC.

I just got the notice from KISB about turn on the scramble after Oct. 20...

I saw an ad this morning also stating that the KISB channels will go scrambled on the 20 of Oct. So that put an end to the FTA's. So far TAN on AMC4 is not scrambled, however that should change rather soon also.

Well the 20th has passed and it looks like they have only scrambled channel 2. Which is fine with me because there was never much worth watching on that channel.

It sounds like they will also scramble #1 soon, but I have not seen anything with a date. So hopefully it will remain available for a while longer.
