Is it possible?

I would like to watch Korean channels. I live in Champaign, IL.
My apartment(2nd floor in 3 story high) faces east. Installation outside of my house is not allowed. I have a window which faces south. Its size is approximately 80cm(wide)*140cm(high).
Can I install the dish in front of the window (inside house)?

Which satellite dish is recommended?
How long will Korean channels be FTA?
Please help me. I have no idea about satellite TV.

Thank you~

Well...

I doubt that the signals from Galaxy 10R can penetrate glass; I've heard of people getting DirecTV and DishNetwork signals through windows but never for Free-to-Air -- which is what you want.

Second; for your area the dish must point at around 226 degrees on the compass -- that's South West. Your window is 80 cm wide and that is the minimum dish size needed for Free-to-Air reception -- so it would be real difficult to aim that dish SW if your window faces south; there just isn't enough of an opening for good signal reception.

This is just my opinion; perhaps others have experience with inside mounting.

Here is a link to Galaxy 10R where most of the free Korean channels are:
