03 db LNB for G3C & Telestar 5

I read a story that you can watch both G3C and Telestar 5 by using 0.3 db LNB, I like to know the signal quality if someone has tried. I assume that you point the LNB between the two satellites.

In theory, you can't get signals from 2 sats using one lnbf. Even if this story is true, I would not recommend it because the dish is not in the optimal position to get good lock. Digital signal is pretty pick, I doubt the the dish will get lock on both sats when it parks at 96W.

It does work somehow, but you will only deal with the same polarity at both sats, and the weak singal will not come in. because the signal quality are degrade to less then 50% to enable both signal come in. And you have to drop the dish about one degree, what I mean is if you point the dish to T5 at 50* elevation, you has to drop to 49* and set dish between two sats.

NOT recommended even with a .1 db LNBF (does not exist).

Like the previous poster have mentioned, low strength signals will not come in and the slighest rain or snow will break the signal badly.

Use a motorized system like the M-1 here: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Systems.htm
