first questions

Hi there,

Thinking about buying dish for chinese channels FTA. questions first:

1. how about the quality of the TV? I mean the signal quality, good enough?

2. if buy a mortorized system, do i need to connect power line to it for the motor? I am thinking put the system in my back yard. It maybe to far for the power line.

Oh yes... the quality is good. The Fortec Star receiver Sadoun has is great for its price. I have a HD tv and some stations seem like they are HD, but they are only SD digital signals.

The M-1 package they have is a good setup for the beginer and with the motor, you do not need additional power. The 12volts runs through the same coax as the satellite signal. It is amazing, but it does. I recommend the 36" dish for stronger signal gain and the Sadoun installation kit.

There are several chinese stations. The CCTV is pretty good, in English French, Spanish and Chinese. There are other Taiwan stations etc...
