where do i point the dish for chinese channels? in nyc

where do i point the dish to pick up chinese channels?
hi there, i'm planning on trying to pick up chinese channels on the FTAs which one do i go for i been told that 95w and 65w? but where are they located ? like what degress do i point toward to on a compass . . and is there a special dish i have to get ? w/ a different LNB?

you will find chinese channels on 95,97,and 113. a 36" dish with motor should work just fine.

There is no free chinese channel at 65W as far as I know. If you have a fixed dish, you can go to Sadoun's main page. There you will find directions for installing a fixed dish. Enter your location, and the computer will calculate how far you have to turn the dish and how high (elevation) you need. Dish size needs to be greater than 80 cm (others will tell you >90 cm). LNB needs to be linear (not the Direct TV LNB since they are circular).

Actually, I've got an 80cm dish and I can pick up 97 and 95w just fine.. heheh...
