G3C signal gone ?

After losing my Pitv signal, I took out my old dish, lnb, cable, receiver but am unable to locate CCTV4 on G3C. I can find other satellite (Galaxy25/Telstar5) just fine.

Thanx for the quick reply. I still don't get it. Is the Freq. 11780 horizontal, symbol rate 20760 still valid ? They didn't scramble the signal on me, did they ? I'm using same old receiver I used 6 month ago.

One thing you might try is when I first checked it for you,it didn't come in.I chose T-5 ku without moving the dish and clicked on a V ch.,then a H ch. and back to the V ch.When I tried G3 then,it came in.I don't know if it's my switch or a quirk of my receiver, but when I try to change from a cband sat to a ku sat,I have to do that sometimes to get it to switch. It doesn't do it on most of them, but like Galaxy 27 White Springs, where I only have one polarity like H.then I have to do that.I took one of 30000 transponders on there and just added random pids manually and scan in a blank V ch.Now when I try White Springs,I click on it and channel to the V ch.and back and White Springs comes in without doing that on another ku sat.It seems I mostly have that problem on sats.that just have one polarity chs. on it.That's probably not the problem your having, but if you still can't get CCTV,it's worth a shot.Hope you get it working.

Thanks rainman,it's been doing like that for a long time and I hope it's just the switch and not receiver.

Okay, I found it. This is after deleting all transponder memory channels of T5 . Start afresh it found CCTV easily. This is a 2 year old Prosat receiver . Thanks everyone.
