Car alarm useful tool for home security

According to a letter to the editor in the Dispatch newspaper, "here is a humane solution to trespassers and for solving potential home-invasion situations.

Sleep with your car keys under your pillow. If you hear sounds of a break-in, press the car-alarm PANIC button. The loud beeping and flashing headlights surely will startle the robber and alert the neighbors. A 911 call will alert police, and a thoroughly rattled robber will be either apprehended or discouraged from visiting your subdivision forever.

Post a sorry-to-disturb you sign on your front lawn at your earliest convenience. "

What if your cat or dog is up at night and starts making some noise? Click the PANIC button and wake up the whole neighborhood
