Well if all goes well the 90cm dish will be in place and operational this weekend. I decided to bury PVC for the entire run of coax I have in the event I want to add lines or need to replace any. I have about 35' to go with the PVC to reach the house which I will get done today. Have 40' laid that runs out to the dish I am setting up for 40.5 circular
C Band. That run lacks about 15'. Have not laid a single stick running towards my main dish. That is roughly 50'.
While labor intensive (I am doing this by hand) the cost involved is minimal. Paid $1.39 a stick for 1" PVC and at this point I have 17 sticks involved. I do not think I will need any more. At this point including all connectors (PVC) and concrete (880 lbs) I am at just over $105.00. I will add I got my poles for free.
All legs of this PVC tree are 1" PVC that run into a 1 1/2" T that continues as 1 1/2" roughly 12" above the ground at the center mast. I will have at least one line coming in from the west dish and 2 from the east dish plus the 1 from the house. Only concerns at this point is the run from the house which is roughly 100' - 110'. Running it in RG6 at this time. If I have any problems I will run RG11. The buried PVC should make the change easy enough.
If I had thought far enough in advance I would have bought a spool of RG11 for this little project. While extra line I am mounting the DiSeqC at normal height on the center mast and wiring between the motor and lnbf. Pole is 13' off the ground. Didn't want to bump my head walking in the yard
