Upgrade
After carefully analyzing my current setup and all I am doing to make it far more usable (easily) I decided to opt for a larger small dish. Ordered a 90cm on Monday and low and behold it arrived yesterday. So far so good except the radio is calling for Tstorms all weekend.
Plans of digging trenches to bury PVC and sinking the pole for the new small dish were / are on the agenda. I am also wrestling with the concept of strapping a second circular C Band lnbf onto the western most dish (western on my property not pointed west). If the rain holds off I should get all the plumbing done (conduit for the coax) along with poles planted and coax run.
With that done would only leave mounting and adjusting dishes for the next weekend along with a complete blow away of the receiver and fresh scan of every sat any catagorization of channels. I place all Spanish language channels in one favorite and all English in another. Stack them according to sat so as when the dish needs to move it is not driving from far east to west to back east and so on. Just progresses through the sats.

I live so close to a state park that I can literally walk to 3 lakes in less than 5 minutes from the house. Just have been so busy this year I have not had a chance to go but twice.

I'm lucky enough to live about 500 yards from a small river, which is a nice flyrod place. Mostly bass and panfish, but a couple miles upstream I know a guy taking brown trout.
It runs through the woods , so it's a mighty relaxing place.

We have a lot on a lake about a mile from our house, and have a dock with a couple boats on the water. So I can walk or drive down to the boat, and be fishing in just a few minutes. Earlier in the year, I caught a 5 lb smallmouth, which I let go, but now nobody beleives me, (that's not that big for a largemouth, but it's pretty big for a smallmouth). There are brown trout in our lake too, and my neighbor on the lake catches them all the time, but in 10 years, I have yet to catch a trout. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I think the brown trout must like the cold water deeper, and I tend to fish in shallow water. But yes, I too have problems deciding which of my several hobbies to play with each day, but I try to get down to the boat every couple days anyway. In fact, I think I'm going to put this computer down and head off to the lake............... later....
