Hello, new member

Hello to all

I just joined, because I like to mess around with electronics. ( well my first computer was an altair). I have been interested in Satelite technology, but until now that I can spare some $$ every so often and I have a place for it never went at it like now.

Well, I have to say that reading this forum in the past few days I have learned new information, it looks like you guys now what you are talking about.

I do have one question. I have a Direcway system (well , not using it since we got cable) I would like to know if I should can this dish or try to use it for something (not an umbrella). I have read that some one used it with new lmb's, but what you used to hold them were the current one is.

Thanks
from PA.

Hi rfpa1,

Welcome, I have only been into this for about a month. All the information that I have read on this site, to receive KU band requires at least a 31” diameter dish. I’m not sure what size dish you are talking about. To receive replies, supply as much information you have relating to your equipment. Many will not reply to your post with out this information attached.

welcome rfpal I have heard of people using the direct way dish for fta have not tried it my self. I would reccomend a 90 cm dish with a motor so you can surf all of the sats.
