Sadoun's shipping charges

I think I might need to say this but in my mind I think Sadoun overcharges and inefficiently ships. For example, I ordered a johnson angle measure and a diseqc 2x1 switch.. total shipping 10 dollars using fedex. They both came in an oversized box unecessarily big. I could of ship these with USPS priority mail for 3.85.

when you are ordering a bunch of small items like that, its best to call in and place the order so the sales rep can adjust the shipping charge for you, otherwise everything is done automatically.

You suggestion is well taken.

When the items can be consolidated and shipping and handling charge can be reduced, we usually credit back the customer a few $ off the s/h fee.

Please keep in mind that we have to add some extra $ to cover the handling part (pick/packing, box cost, shipping material, label printing, etc). On average our handling cost runs around $8-10 per item, beleive it or not. So on most small items, our s/h and handling cost is usually high. It take the same amount of time to process a complete system order as much as single Johnson Level meter.
