My setup Hanford, CA

I get from Galaxy 10R @ 123W to Nahuel 1A @72W.

http://community.webshots.com/user/zerobeat2004

It is leveled with magnetic tape (one side has adhesive strips)...and secured with those plastic cable ties

Thanks bakshishmarrakech.
I am very satisfied with this experience. Took me a while to nail that clarke belt though!
You east coast guys are lucky. You get those Atlantic satellites! Not as much out west (kinda like shortwave?! ) Hey! why are there no birds over the Pacific anyway?
That is my heating and air conditioning unit. Some have pointed out potential problems with this arrangement. I have had no problems. I feel pretty good about its' stability and strength.
I am in California's southern San Joaquin Valley. Did the fir tree and palm tree together throw ya?Conifers don't seem to do well here. (Must be the hot dry summers) Good thing that one did. it is the support for my Shortwave antenna!
I have not tried for anything east of 72W.

Nice setup. The Signal strength and Quality for T5 are fantastic. Good job alignning that dish.

Thank you Sadoun. Right now I am watching "Liberty!" on PBS X (AMC3) with a quality near 90. Fabulous picture and digital sound too.
Even now that I usually have the air conditioner running intermittently in the evening, there is no impact on reception. The AC unit does vibrate some...so over time we'll see.

Vibration will losen some screws. Do a periodic check and tighten the screws and nuts. More than 3 years ago, I have installed a stationary dish (aimed at T5) on a commercial A/C unit for one of our customers. To-date no problems and the signal is still strong.
