I heard Tax rebate checks will start arriving on Monday.

How many of you is planning to spend part of your tax rebate check on satellite products?

VJ

You are suppose to spend it on merchandise to stimulate the economy . Don't send it back to the bank , it won't count as a stimulation ...

new refrigerator
didn't really need it yet but the old one was pretty beat

Went for stainless look - note to anyone who cares, stainless looks great but fingerprints show like crazy.
And wife's disappointed the zillion fridge magnets she had no longer stick...

My wife is asking me for a new oven. Ours is 13 years old and needs changing. I am not an avid cook, so I couldn't understand her frustration with the oven. Then she mentioned to me "Hey, if you want to continue eating burned up cookies and pizza, then we will keep this oven. " It seems like the oven temperature sensor/controller is out of wack . Also, one of the top burners don't work.

So, maybe I will buy a new oven.

Keep the wife happy and the rest of life will work out pretty well.

I think I may buy more stock in the oil companies.
