I have a brother that lives in Florida and has a big dish for almost 30 years. He told me yesterday that the satellite dealer, and well known one that he has dealt with for years is now charging $20.00 per phone call. He says he is done calling them. Thank goodness I chose Sadoun to deal with, they have bent over backwards for me. Thank goodness for this forum the other dealer does not have one. I think I will be steering big brother to Sadoun.

I can understand if you are calling a 3rd party for support and they charge for their service. But if you buy from a dealer or a manufacturer, you should get some reasonable support free.

Sometimes you will have to set the limits. Some customes do not bother to try anything. I have spent so much time over the phone with customers just to guide them through basic stuff already expalined to them before. Put TV on channel 3 is a major one.

The problem is what is basic to us is not to them and it makes them alot better customer when you help them with the basic stuff so that they don't feel foolish. happens in my buisness all the time if I only had a dime for every time I had to tighten a gas cap.LOL
