For Christmas, I want/need time and motivation to get the rest of my FTA stuff configured and in use. I can't ask Santa for anything else until I can justify (at least to myself) what I already have laying around the house right now.

I was thinking of get another receiver was hoping the Fortec HD receiver would be out by Christmas maybe next year.

For Christmas I'd like to hear more news about the new Fortec HD receiver.
Seems like I'll be "wishing upon a star" though...
I wonder what the holdup could be. Other vendors have released versions, and even revisions of their versions.

An HD receiver would be great. Fortec is waiting to have a perfect receiver before they bring it to the USA. I don't think a perfect receiver will ever exist. So I say, go ahead and bring what you have now, then if more features are needed, they can be added later.

I e mailed Fortec about 2 months ago on the new HD receiver and they stated that they didn't have ETA on it. thats a shame because I was looking forward to one.
