Dollars & Gold

What do you think of the latest gold prices today? $739 / oz. (28 years high).

The oil prices reaching $84 / barrel and the US$1 = CAN$1 (a first since 1976)

The US dollar has been lossing against foreign currencies for the last few years. Even though inflation is still under control, but how long will this last?

Lower US$ value means higher prices for imports.

q12345 is on a distinguished road
I read about the Amero (North America's equivalent to the Euro) somewhere on the net a while back. It sounds like a conspiracy theory, but it states that the USD and CAD will lose much of their value when the three North American countries unite their currencies into the Amero. Could this be what's happening to our crazy currencies?

I think things are going pretty good. I have a sizeable stake in a Canadian gold mining concern that's been hitting all-time highs.
