Wow, I've never seen one even close to that long! I have a couple pole saws, but they are both maybe 15' when extended. Even that's pretty helpful. I put about a 24' ladder on some of the trees, climb up about 18' with the pole saw. It helps for getting the lower limbs out of the way of the rope saw. But if I see one of those 35' things, I'll certainly get one!

Ordered a 6 footer too, yesterday. It will be pas 1r dedicated dish.

Can't wait to get hands on it.

Oh no are you going to beat me to the C Band channels on 45?

I have a 8.5' dish laying in the yard just waiting for me to have time to put up for the C Band on 45. As with yours a dedicated dish for that sat. I am most interested in the Telemundo channel. There are only 2 FTA.

Hee hee hee, well is going to be mounted on the ground, and not motorized (can't afford the hh motor at the moment), so I have to set it for the P.R. channels so when I get visitors from Puerto Rico they can watch the tv programs from there. I hope isn't hard to align.

I tend to agree Bill... Of course my 1st experience trying to use the 6' for C band and the 80cm for Ku was not good as I managed to damage (well KILL) 2 switches... So running both motors is out of the question for me (have to think too much

What I will do is try to realign the 6' on Ku and get it as perfect as I can. (That should make C band and Ku perfect).... Being the glutten that I am, I ordered a couple of new DISEqC switches this morning from Sadoun and will use an external to replace the blown switch on the BSC621, and will use the 6' for C and Ku....

Then I may just leave the 80 fixed on 1 sat (Like Galaxy 25) and hook the LNB into position 3 of the switch... No more trying to run the motor (gun shy now)...

How high above the ground the post is?
What was the length of the square tubes you used between the H180 and the dish?

Why of course you may use any of the pics you wish....

The square tubes (cut from the original legs that came with the dish) are 20" long. The directions with the dish even kinda-sorta show ya where to drill the holes. The pipe is 2 3/4" X 7'. I buried 3' in the ground (Filled the hole with Quickcreet) and then built a box out of 2X6's to pour a little above ground form around the pole the next day. (The same form was used on my 80cm and is visible in the pic you reference)... Then I filled the pipe with Quickcreet for added strength, not to mention to keep water out (note, you have to do this before mounting the motor as the HH180 fits over the top of the pipe...

And that's about it.. It was pretty simple, although I did have to bend a bit of the dish out of the way in the back to get the motor and "O" to clear (very easy to do with a pair of pliers)...

I had trouble receiving ku with my bsc621-2 lnb as it turns out my ku probe was bent! the only reason i found this is because dms put out this http://dmsiusa.com/technical/bsc621t1.html after bending the probe back with a small clean screw driver i get very good ku reception.
