Birdog help

I have had a Birdog for a almost a year. and Now I have been having trouble with it lately. I mostly use it for installing Dish Pro LNBs. I update it frequently for best accuracy. But now sometimes it get 119 but not 110 and just yesterday I was not getting anything untill I started to undo the cable from the LNB input it would go on and off (quality) Also I charged the battery in the morning and by 3:00pm without using it it was down to 85% I used it for 30 minutes and gave up. This afternoon I turned it on and it was at 0% but it was still on. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you been using it on any Dish Pro "Plus" Twin LNBF's?

Has the weather been cold lately? Because rechargable NiHM batteries will lose thier charge and thier storage capacity will also decrease in cold weather.

This is very true. In the winter here in Toronto I'm lucky to get half an hour service from the batteries in my Birdog. I always use the 12 volt mobile charger between jobs.

It's been warm so that's not the case. But I did disconect the battery for a day from the Birdog and I charged it to 100% it's been five days and it is holding at 85% with out use. It has gone down but not as fast as before. Would that have anything to do with not identifing the birds on a DP lnb?

It might be the case with the Dish Pro "Plus" Lnb's, since they consume so much power.
