Birddog problem

I Installed a DP lnb on Sunday morning and everything went well. Now this evening I installed another DP lnb and I could not get a found signal on 110 but on 119 I got 100% quality. After a while I got frustrated and aimed the 110 to the highest signal and went to the reciever inside and I saw that I had good quality on 110 and the birdog could not give me any quality. 119 had also good quality. The question is why did I not get any quality on the birdog for 110.

You probably need to update the datafile for the Birdog. See manual for instructions.

How often should I update the birdog? Since it was only a couple of days apart with the current situation. the last time I updated the birdog was Friday. Thank you for your response.

You should update it often (min. weekly). Also, you should update it when you notice that it stopped identifiying a certain satellite. Which in most cases it means the data has changed.
