Birdog & tuning Phase III LNBF

Hello all,

Just received my new Birdog meter and I have a question concerning tuning my DirecTV HD dish w/Phase III LNBF. Being that the Phase III is receiving 3 separate satellite signals (i.e., 101W,110 & 119) simultaneously, what is the best way to setup the dish for optimizing the best signal from all three satellites?

Is it, if I peak the signal from one of the three, the remaining two satellites are also peaked?

And my final question, is it critical what port (1-4) on the LNB I connect the Birdog meter to or are they all common ports?

Thanks in advance,
CMMtn
