data cable for birdog

hi i was wondering if anyone else have or had any problem with there data cable for the birdog. i tried to download a new satellite listing and no go. i tried a friend cable and it work perfectly? also is there a place i can send it for repair? thank's "Zee"

Yes, datacable could get bad. See pinout picture here

If you have a continuity meter, you can verify that the wires are conducting current accourding to the pinout picture. If the cable is indeed bad, you can repair it yourself, or just buy a new one.

Hi,

The link for the data cable pin-out takes me to an ad for the Birdog, but no diagram.
Can anybody provide the pin-out for the Birdog data cable, or a link to one?
