hi, I`m new here an this site has good reading. Ok here is the thing , i got my new sat hawk3000 ,it is working good i picked up a few sats but i need to know how important is it to have the lates software, it came with TV A3.3 but i see TV A35 KU is the out. do I leave well enough alone are will new software give me beter use of my sathawk 3000? thanks to eny advice. :mozilla_undecided:
Whenever there is an update there will be a note describes what was updated. On 3.5 version, direct TV 103 was added and most satellite were updated. If you do not need the added satellite and all you need is working, you should be fine with what you have. Personally I do not update my meter unless I really need the update. I calibrate the meter the way I want it and I’m used to it that way.
thanks dude for responding so fast, ok i will leave it like it is, like you I got it calibrated and set up an plenty of sats in it. now I am waiting on my 36inch dish to pick up the far away sats. Sathawk 3000 is great to have for my hoby, makes life easyer!
