JRA60 is on a distinguished road
downloading the correct satellite software for the birdog

I just purchased a Birdog on Ebay so that I could move my dish to a different location on my house (once moved I plan to resell it on Ebay). I live in MN and have my dish currently pointed at 101 110 and 119, however, when I look at my possiblites for software downloads I don't know which software I should download to install in the Birdog to find the Direct TV satellite--can anyone help me?

Where are you looking? It should be on the CONFIGURE page on the Birdog website ---> www.birdog.tv

Select all the DirecTv files and download those. I hope your Birdog came with the RJ45 to DB9 serial cable - you're kind of hosed without it...

If you need instructions on using the meter and downloading the files, the website also has .pdf manuals. Make sure you select the right manual depending on which firmware version your Birdog has -- you can find out which version by looking at the display when you first turn the meter on; it will show up for a few seconds.
