birdog and universal

Can someone tell me if version 2.20 will work with universal lnb's

Don't know about 2.20 but 2.50 does for sure. Try to download a new configuration file and see; got nothing to lose. The universal files are at the bottom of the configuration list.

It must be version 1 that doesn't do universal lnb's
Bobkat do you ever use the other functions like signal to noise ratio ?

Truthfully spiderdead I have yet to discover all that the Birdog can do. I simply use the BER (bit error rate) feature to fine tune the dish alignment. When you hear the beep, beep and see FOUND then hit the down arrow key and it goes into the BER mode. This is very accurate. I always verify good signal on both HOR and VER transponders just to be ultra sure.
