Bird dog satellite compatabilty

I have just recieved my new birdog. I am in the process of creating my
sat lists & loading them into my bird dog, which I have done with no
problems. On the bird dog/perfect 10 website, they identify the sats as
follows; C=c-band, K= Ku band, & B= direct broadcast (R&L circular
polarization). but also there is U, is this for universal sats, that have Ku
linear polarization, & circular polarization on the same sat. if this is to be
true, and I am running a Invacom QPH-031 universal lnb, where should I
connect the lnb cable to ???. The linear or circular connector of the lnb???

stasram4000 ,
As my understanding , the linear is used for FTA satellite stuffs . The other circular is for DirectTV and DishNetwork. If you have both, plug both in ... " SEE the BEST of BOTH WORLD ". Otherwise, you can use 1 ... 1 is g00d too , lolz !!!

g00d lucks setting up FTA sats , man !!!
Best Wishes ,,,

Benny...
