Just bought a new Birdog meter, also have a Channel Master 1009, am trying to lock in Dishentwork 110, can't see it on the Birdog but can get it on the Channel Master, anybody have any tricks of the trade to get this thing working correctly, also even though I'm locking on the Channel Master the Check Dish doesn't see the 110 Bird
Thanks
i get that sometimes i would try a few things
Check if you are using a dishpro or legacy lnb
there are 2 seperate files for dn 119 and 110
one is for dishpro other is legacy
also check raw signal level if very high like 190's and up chances are your there just select another sat in meter then go back usualy pops in.
also check menu in birddog make sure settings are correct for job.
Thanks for the help,
Using Legacy LNB's raw signal 180
Have no problems with 119, Have been using a Channel Master 1009 and can lock on with no problem
Would relly appreciate if you could tell me what the correct settings are in the menu, maybe I have that wrong
Thanks Again
My Birdog finds ExpressVu's 91 and 82 using the "Nimiq 91" setting; perhaps its the same with DishNetwork; try using the 119 setting to find both 119 and 110. Might work. I don't know anything about the Channel Master meter -- never used one.

my settings are
rf=liniar
found
ber=linear
these are last 3 settings in dirddog menu, which is found by pressing
up arrow or off for 3 sec.
Also 180 is low for a raw strength it is posibe that birddog might think that it is to low and not give you a "found"
but reciever might actually pick that up..
what skew and elev are you using and what area are you located
