Can the dawg be used to pick up 121w on a linear ku band lnb i only see superdish in the menu of the birdog just wondering b.c cant seem to find the signal...
My neighbour was pointed at T5 prior to me moving it i assume its linear lnb correct....

LOL !!!

Sorry - not meaning to ignore you. I have a Birdog and it has the setting for 121 Superdish but to be honest I have never tried finding that satellite.

My birdog found 121 during the months of January & February, only.

Have to call again. I say yes it not me, go confirm, then the order
has to be emailed to owner Horizon in the UK and they don't get 121
their.

Wind blew out of alignment a few weeks ago. It was very easy since 121
puts out a 100 sat sinal stregnth. Metered to 119, Found with Ku FSS,
then moved just a hair to the right.

Acutrac will not give you the picture quality and will not giv you positve id of the satellite signal. It will only give you signal strength but no satellite id.

Try the Birdog or the Sathawk

Re: Birdog 121

I have a Birdog and tried using it for 121, no luck at all. I normally used
a FTA receiver and a TV to align satellite dish to 121 or to other Superdish satellite.
