FTA in Venezuela

I have read a lot of messages about what I am going to ask. I just want to be clear on this.

I have a subscription with Directv latinamerica I believe the antena is pointing at the same position Galaxy 3C should be.

I purchased a Fortec star Lifetime Ultra And I am trying to recieve any FTA signal from this satellite. I know the setting on the unit should be low frequency 11250 for the LNBF. I get a signal but 0% Quality. Should I not get any quality at all with this circular polarity LNBF?

I think it was discussed before that Directv latin america uses a circular LNBF, but it has a lower LO (not 11250). If you are using north american directv LNBF you might be out of luck. NOt 100% sure though.

You should try this settings Standard low freq 10500 and it works. but if you want the FTA programing in this bird try a linear LNB and you get some chines programs

Thanks chumas, I tried it and it did not work.

I have no problem with my directv reciever.
