    BD 4.0--excessive voltage?

I have a new to me BD 4.0 PLUS. Been using a BD Ver 2.1. I set up my Hughesnet dish (tripod) fine with the 4.0. When setting up my DISH 1000.2 (tripod) I have the receiver hooked into port 1 and have a cable from port 2 that I hook up to the BD. When I turn it on and go to 119 I get the "excessive voltage" message and the BD shuts down. I use the BD 2.1 and it doesn't happen.
I'm a fulltime RVer and have been setting up my dishes for 10 yrs. BUT--the 1000.2 is new to me. Having a hard time finding the 129 sat. (That is one reason for upgrading the BD). Also do not get a reading of the 110 sat but it does show up at the receiver.
Confused about how to use the DiSEqC feature.
    Thanks

    BUMP
The message from the BD was 'excessive current' not 'excessive voltage'.

I had the same problem with my 3.0 . I discovered that you can't have power running to the LNB. The cables aren't isolated electrically in the 1000.2 .

    "Excessive current"

"Excessive current" may be next thing: the meter is broken or you use
multiple LNB or LNB shorted. Try use the meter on single (good) LNB, if works, your meter 100% good. Also, make certainty battery comletely
    charged.
