I have a birddog 3 and my original battery would charge to 10% then announce it was fully charged (100%) but when I would connect it to the LNB, the birddog would shut itself off with a "battery low" message.
I thought the battery had reached its useful life, I went ahead and ordered a new one but with the new one I have the same exact problem....
any suggestions????
thanx

During initial fast charge (about 4 hours or less) the meter getting a bit warm, so it normal and good sign that charging system work properly.
But do not pay attention, if battery from 10% goes right to 100% - it is mean nothing. Also if you like to check battery do not pay attention if
display say charging got 100%. It may be not true. How check Battery?
Charge over night and connect to single LNB (about 0.5A to 0.8 A).
Meter must work (you may turn off clicking) at least 3 hours. But if you
dont like to wait keep on for at least 1 hour. If work, your battery is good.
