BIRDOG 3.0 is DEAD
I have a Birdog 3.0 meter. I have not used it for about 6 months.
When I parked it, it was working perfect. I turned it on the other day, and nothing. I plugged in the battery charger, and still nothing. No signs of trying to come on. Will the Birdog normally run with a dead battery if you plug in the charger? Hope that it is nothing serious. Thanks in advance. |

Like any battery operated device, if you don't use it for a long time, it is recommended to disconnect the battery.

Battery condition
Yes, for long period of time not using , battery must be disconnected.
But still problem: battery decharge by itself. For ver 3 birdog charging system with totally dead battery does not work. May be you need replace battery. I recomended if meter not in use charge it at least one time per month. Quote:
