I there way up grade firmware from 3.0 to 4.0 on USB Plus.

Does anyone know where to get the firmware software to upgrade the flash memory for the Birdog Meter? I have version 2.01 and would like to get the extra features available with the version 2.5

Bad idea. You may damage your Meter. But do not warry. If you have
ver 1, ver 2.2 or ver 2.5 and it is work for you - keep it, do not rush to buy new one. It is no big difference. Ver 3 and above has USB port - no big deal if your computer has serial port. Battery life depend battery, no meter.

Where to get the last birdog 2.5 firmware, can not dowload the sats when they are transfered, an error is given and the battery died.

Error during transfer very seldom belong to meter itself. Mostly problem
with data cable, then computer set up.
