Birdog Firmware Software

Does anyone know where to get the firmware software to upgrade the flash memory for the Birdog Meter? I have version 1.00 and would like to get the extra features available with the version 2.5

You can't flash a BIRDOG to update the f/w. Each new F/W release is coupled with a hardware update as well. The software is not compatible across different versions.

You should consider buying the newest model the BirdogUSB 3.0.

Pros:

• Better Battery Capacity
• Double memory capacity
• USB update, so it will work with a laptop or PC
• Compliant with DishProPlus LNBFs (with a receiver connected to one of the LNBF ports)

I agree, the new Birdog 3.0 is much better with nice imporvements. For software updates consult your manual. If you want to upgrade to the better and newer version we have some great deals and nice bundles that can save you a lot of money. Check out the website and follow the link for Signal Meters.

Where to get the last birdog 2.5 firmware, can not dowload the sats when they are transfered, an error is given and the battery died.

Hi there,
i saw that you know pretty much about Birdogs.
My Birdog 2.5 went dead after i put the device in program mode,now it wont turn on again.

Do i have to install a firmware update to make it work again or is there anything else i can do?

I need to update birdog 2.5 firmware & all the software ect.

I have never updated it so far but now with new birds up & signal change happened I think I should do them.

I have tried birdog.tv & perfect-10.tv but looks like sites are down or no longer in business.

could you help me in this regard as I am new to this site
