Thai TV

My friend just installed The Fortec Star FTA receiver system. It seems that
most of the channels of the IA5 - Telstar 5 satellite (97W) have been received except the Thai channels. Can anyone advise why the FTA Thai channels are not being received? Is there some other frequency or programming needed to receive these channels? Thank you for your response. Dave

ANY FTA receiver would receive channels if they are FTA (Free-To-Air)

FTA channels are Open for viewing basically....

use the Mercury receiver and the 36" Fortec dish and you should be able to receive them just find as Darkman said any FTA receiver will work but if you are new to the hobbie you will find the Mercury easy to set up.
